A friend or foe

Life is always exciting as we come across many a different people all through our lives – at school, university, workplace, neighbourhood, gatherings and so on.

With different passing phases in life, people and their importance changes. Does this change happen merely due to a distant stay, out of sight or is it only because you have now known the ‘unknown’ in them. You learn to accept the differences and understand it’s beyond reconcile. While you might wish to be together, the other might not.

Coincidentally, humans are born to be adaptable. This is experienced greatly during an emotional journey encountered in life. With time, people are bound to feel valued or neglected. The once known people in our lives might remain only an acquaintance, our best known buddy becomes a friend or foe. We adapt this change and tend to move on. We learn the art and craft of being human.

While you might never see or hear them for the rest of your lives, you’ll someday keep them alive still in your memories. Despite having scars or differences that mattered big at some point of time, you will learn to let go of all for the sake of memories made along the way.

Cherish the presence of people in your life as they become a part of your memory forever. Value people and togetherness, value life!
